I’m André and I run Eridani Digital, a content creation agency. Part of the agency’s portfolio is Eridani Press, which was created to bring vintage novels back into the mainstream. As we plunge deeper into the confusing morass that is AI slop, vintage novels offer a window into a time before computers or smart phones or being constantly online. A time before follower counts, likes, and subscribers were the metrics of success. When real human connections were the “internet” of that era and mattered far more than the soul-less status of social media influencer.

Regency House Press is part of that effort to revive vintage novels, specifically romance and adventure novels of the late Victorian era and the subsequent Edwardian era. These are the works that are considered foundational to the adventure romance novels we see in bookstores today.

I was born and raised in Canada and began my career as a wildlife biologist, then became an environmental scientist and eventually a university lecturer. I have moved well out of academia and the sciences and now run this online agency while living in a truly beautiful part of the world: Vancouver Island.
